I'm not sure why all the bad reviews, but Dr Smothers has helped our family for around 10 years now. I know of others that he has helped as well. I personally have had many health challenges, and I'm pretty well today. He also teaches how to eat and prepare food properly. I notice some of the reviews whining about the expense. I will say, that all the junk people eat isn't exactly cheap.

Years ago i became ill & coughed for approx. 3 months without any solution by ENT, Allergists, Pulmonology. I prayed to THE LORD to take me since i was of no use in illness. Immediately, i received a call from my sister who recommended John Smothers. I called & saw him the next dad. Prognosis: poor immune system. I was placed on supplements according to my body's needs after a series of testing. Voila! GOD healed me through this regime that i continue today. THE LORD blessed me through the knowledge given to Dr. John & am able to survive as a result. Thank you Dr. John & all the staff for blessing me through your GOD- given knowledge.

What is holistic medicine?
Holistic medicine is a comprehensive healthcare approach that considers the entire person - their mind, body, and spirit - rather than focusing solely on specific symptoms or illnesses. What do you cover in a consultation or what to expect?
Our consultation process is divided into four main parts. First, we review your medical history, diagnosis, genetic predispositions, and current lab tests and scans. Next, we schedule additional lab tests to gather more information about your health. These may include tests such as neuro adrenal expanded, organic acid food sensitivity, GI effects stool, various genetics type, advanced lipid panel, advanced antioxidant panel, and blood chemistry including thyroid. Third, we develop a custom protocol for foundational detoxification, which includes opening detox excretion processes, eradicating overgrowth bacteria, yeast, and parasites, detoxifying toxins and heavy metals, balancing the endocrine system, and rebuilding digestion and gastrointestinal microbiome. Finally, we create a custom dietary program based on your health assessment.

Why is bio-identical hormones better?
Bio-identical hormones are considered superior because they are chemically identical to the hormones naturally produced by the human body.
