On 7/10/23 I was told the shipment for my medication hadn't come in. I had called the previous Friday about the medication because I was going to run out on Monday, 7/10. They said they could order it and have it there by Tuesday but I needed the medication then. They did not call to inform me they didn't have the medication so I went there after dinner unaware it wouldn't be filled by then.
Since they didn't have it, I went to Walgreens across the street and they did have it in stock. I asked the pharmacist at Walgreens to transfer the prescription. After 30 minutes we checked with him and the fax from Kroger had not been sent.
About 20 minutes before Kroger closed, I called Kroger and asked about if they had sent the fax. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude saying that no one there that night had gotten a request from Walgreens and basically just yelled answers to all my questions. I was then very upset and going to call Walgreens but 1 minute later the Kroger pharmacist called back and told me they had gotten the information to the Walgreens pharmacy about 5 minutes ago. I told him his associate had been extremely rude to me and his response was "oh I'm sorry" but you could tell he really didn't care.
About two minutes later I got a text from Walgreens saying my prescription was ready. Because Walgreens understood the importance of me not running out of this medication.
I had switched recently to Kroger because they have better prices with good Rx if your insurance is not covering enough. After this experience, I'm going back to Walgreens. I feel like they actually cared about me and my need for my medication.

I was going to transfer my prescriptions there but after speaking to one of their technicians, her name started with a Z I think, I decided to to go somewhere else. I don’t want a pharmacy as confused as she was to handle my prescriptions
