- DKDoris Ann KingNov 28, 20255.0Recently, we have not been pleased with Home Instead. We have 3 regular care givers, but one just left because the pay wasn’t enough for her. I asked how much she makes and she told me. She did a great job, but now she is gone. And there is not automatic raises based on merit or time with the company. No wonder there is such a turnover of employees. We are very fortunate to have LTC insurance that we have paid a lot for, and the company is one of the best. And our care givers go above and beyond in talking care of us. I see from the reviews that we are not alone. Our excellent caregivers are Joyce Walker & DeAndra Hampton.

It would have been extremely useful if they had a medical branch/department who could take charge when the customer was in need of medical assistance. I highly recommend Home Instead.
