As a trained phlebotomist, there are things that I noticed that weren't exactly what I would have done had I been the one drawing my blood. First off, I had approximately ten vials of blood being drawn, and the staff used a regular Vacutainer needle combo. With that level of being put in and out, I would have expected a catheterized needle or a butterfly needle to be used, and that did not occur. Leading to the technician prematurely removing the needle from my arm and not drawing two of the vials that were initially counted out. Overall the experience wasnt bad. I experience no bruising so the tech was extremely comfortable with the repeated vial changes.

I had an appointment and was taken on time. The process was painless. The nurse that took my blood was friendly and kind. A nice experience.
