It’s Friday the 24th of January 2026. I came in there because I ran out of 25 gauge needles for my testosterone prescription. I only needed one until my next script comes in with my needles. The problem is I accidentally threw my needles away and I don’t even know why I did that. But in the state of Tennessee, if you have proof that you receive medication‘s Intramuscularly or otherwise, You do not require a prescription to get syringes and or needles at any given pharmacy. What sad is I come to the store all the time I tell all the people hello, I’ll never come to that store again. I thought The pharmacist was bias And being judgy. I don’t look like a drug addict. I’m a business owner and I spend about $2000 in that store every month…. they claim at this store that you have to have a prescription to get syringes for your medication and the doctor has to call the prescription into the store. It’s not even a law in the state of Tennessee so because Kroger wants to be that way, I won’t go to the pharmacy anymore. I go to the Walgreens right down the road that I never use and they were the nicest people in the world, and I showed them the prescription and they could not understand for the life of them. Why the lady would not have sold that to me ridiculous you only get two stars because of your stupid bias policy.

Very rude staff. Wouldn’t even let me ask a question before slamming the gate in my face, but was very willing to help the guy in front of me who literally came at the same time as me. All of this because they wanted to close promptly at 1:00pm for lunch. Hire enough staff so that there are rolling lunches. That’s just my two cents.

Not very knowledgeable staff- I needed to buy a syringe to aspirate my dog’s hematoma, so I asked to buy an 18 gauge needle. The pharmacy tech told me it was illegal to sell them without a prescription. I told her I had bought them there, at that very pharmacy, before. She told me it was a new law and even said it on the box of syringes. I drove to Walgreens and they sold it to me after checking my ID, no other questions asked. My biggest pet peeve is when people make up lies because they are too lazy to do their jobs properly.
