I had an unexpected allergic reaction, and the team here handled it with absolute professionalism and genuine care. They moved quickly, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt safe the entire time. I’m incredibly grateful for how well they took care of me. Truly outstanding service! I would recommend this team for emergency care. Thank you!
I was sent there by the location off Northshore since the Northshore office could not give me x-rays. I am so glad, everyone at the Farragut location was extremely friendly. I got the x-rays to rule out any break or fractures. They were fast and caring. I hope I don’t get hurt but if I do, this is were I’ll go!
going in on Sunday and Easter Sunday at that where other places were closed was such a relief to be able to talk with, be advised by and helped with our illnesses it’s such a comforting, caring practice. Thank you to all who worked with us yesterday that we are finally feeling better. This was my third visit to a doctor and the only practice that actually prescribed medication to get me better. Thank you so much for being there when people need you!

Very frustrating and unprofessional experience I came into AFC for a TB chest X-ray for school something I’ve had done before without any issue. I checked in, verified my information, and paid my $40 copay upfront as requested. After that, everything became confusing and inconsistent. The tech came in and asked for a “school form,” which was never mentioned during check-in. I explained that I only needed the chest X-ray and report (which is what my program requires), and even offered to show documentation from my school portal. Instead of clear communication, I was repeatedly questioned about the same thing. Then the pricing started changing. I had already paid $40, then was told it would actually be around $67, and then later it jumped to over $90 at $96. How does that make sense? How is that acceptable after already charging a patient? I have PPO Blue Cross Blue Shield, and this exact service has been covered for me before especially due to my medical history. The explanation I was given was that this location is a “franchise” and not a “corporate” office, so pricing and coverage are different. That still doesn’t explain why the cost kept changing in real time or why insurance coverage suddenly no longer applies when it has in the past. What made this experience worse was the lack of professionalism. While I was the only patient in the back, I could hear staff discussing my situation. That’s uncomfortable and inappropriate, especially when it involves something personal like a TB history. Also if this is considered “not covered,” how does that make sense when this is a required and preventative follow-up for school and based on prior medical history? And honestly, if I did have active TB again, would they suddenly have my insurance covered then? Because up until now, my insurance has consistently covered these screenings due to my history. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience with poor communication, inconsistent pricing, and unprofessional behavior. I won’t be returning to this location.
I was very happy with this experience. The online check-in procedure was fast and efficient. By visiting online before arrival, I was able to submit all required information and documents. That meant that upon arrival I pretty much just had to say I am here. I was in an exam room within a few minutes and the nurse, Connie, was friendly and efficient and quickly made me feel like I’d be well cared for. Such was the case. Kristen saw me, discussed symptoms, and came up with a treatment plan. It seems to be working. I feel confident that I will turn to AFC again when and if needed.
