Spine and Sport Chiropractic integrates physical therapy exercises, which is a commendable addition often missing in other practices. The office staff is professional, and the billing/reminder systems are efficient. Dr. Hogan’s initial treatment recommendations were fair and budget-conscious. However, the chiropractic care itself is superficial and rushed. In my experience, Dr. Hogan skips essential re-evaluation steps, performing the same adjustments every visit without re-analyzing the spine or managing tissue inflammation. During a recent visit, he adjusted directly into an inflamed lower back, causing significant pain. Testing methods also appeared unreliable; for instance, he used a handheld muscle-testing tool free-standing rather than stabilized against a fixed object, producing inconsistent readings. Furthermore, the exam bed in his office was too narrow for a standard adult frame, leaving my arm pressed against the wall. While the inclusion of physical therapy is a highlight, the chiropractic side lacks the necessary individualization and diagnostic depth to ensure safety and effectiveness. The process feels automated: office staff place EMS pads based on patient preference rather than clinical analysis, and the use of heat pads prior to adjustments may exacerbate inflammation. Dr. Hogan repeats identical adjustments every time, failing to account for how musculoskeletal behaviors evolve during recovery. Proper care requires getting familiar with a patient's specific biomechanics and addressing tissue inflammation prior to manipulation—steps that are currently being bypassed. I have decided to cancel my remaining appointments due to these safety and efficacy concerns. Consistent, high-quality care would likely require more time per patient than this current high-volume model allows. For reference on standard diagnostic and adjustment procedures, consider researching providers like Dr. Brenda Mondragon, Dr. Alex Tubio, or Dr. Edward McLaughlin. I believe the practice could improve by prioritizing diagnostic depth over treatment volume.

THE BEST chiropractic care around! I drive out of my way to come here. I started coming here around summer 2021 and my rib pain was resolved through a specific care plan and physical therapy that they also provided. They listen, they care, and it works!!! I come once a month now and love the way I feel after leaving.
