I went to the Little Clinic today needing care while sick and was turned away because I did not have a physical copy of my insurance card, even though insurance information can be verified electronically. I even called my insurance company while standing there, and an agent offered to speak with the clinic to verify my active coverage; but Nurse Practitioner Teresa Strickland still refused to see me. She was extremely rude and dismissive, leaving me feeling uncared for when I was not well. Turning away a sick patient despite confirmed insurance coverage is unacceptable, and the lack of compassion was very disappointing. Most insurance contracts require providers to accept reasonable verification of coverage. Refusing to accept that (even with a live agent offering confirmation) is surely a contract violation between the clinic and insurance companies. I will be escalating this further.

Be careful you will end up paying a doctor bill out of your pocket!! I went to Cordova Little clinic Because of the vomiting and stomach illness I had. The nurse Practitioner, Shawanta Poole took my blood pressure and a short history. I said I want to make sure that nothing serious is going wrong with me.Then I noticed because she even didn't mention any thing about my stomach illness on my claim the insurance had denied my claim and little clinic sent me a full bill of $104 to pay out of my pocket. That was the most non-professional clinic i ever gone to and i never will go there again.....Just be careful !!!!! you will end up paying full doctor bill out of your pocket. it seems the personnels are not well-trained and not well -recognized for insurance companies.

I've read several bad reviews about this location so this is to provide some balance. (I do realize staffing at the moment may make a big difference.) My visit was a near wonderful experience: greeted promptly and politely, wait time was relatively short (about 10-15 min), attending dr/nurse were compassionate, friendly, courteous, and attentive to my questions. In short, I received good care in a timely manner in a pleasant environment. I would definitely return to this location.

I’m putting 2 stars because they always “half” heal me. I gave them 2 chances, both times they failed me. I had strep throat, and am allergic to amoxicillin. The doctor that saw me prescribed medicine that had a low concentration of amoxicillin in it...???? When the pharmacist told my wife that we shouldn’t take any chances, and called the doctor for another script, the doctor said she wrote it because I had a “mild” reaction when I was younger...come on????? 2nd instance was that I had a sinus and ear infection. Wrote me a prescription that took care of my allergies but did nothing for my ears. Went to my real doctor and immediately resolved. The reviews on this place are accurate. The only benefit of this place is the walk in ability. I would not recommend coming here at all.

Arrived at 8:40am, 10 minutes after the clinic opens, and the nurse tells me to sit down. Then 5 minutes later she tells me to get up and register my name. At 9:20am the woman at the desk asks for insurance information from a woman who came after me and even allowed her to drive all the way home to grab her insurance card. If they see patients based on emergency, that's fine, but the woman has a cold meanwhile I have 7 rashes covering my body which first appeared 3 days ago. Kiss my ass, I went down to CVS minute clinic.
