The pharmacists here always take a second to give me a second opinion and explain to me what side effects to look out for and if there are any major concerns. I don’t like taking daily medication but at least they add some easement to my anxiety about medication by simple explanations on how they work and what most experience. They will even tell you how over the counter meds such as cold, cough or allergy meds will or won’t effect/interact with your daily meds . I’m more than content with them as my go to pharmacy!

If I could leave a negative stars review I would. We have had to switch pharmacy due to the lack of concern and lack of being able to get prescriptions in a timely manner. The Dr can call in the prescription and still 3 days later Kroger still has not filled it nor has any record of a prescription. Even though we can be standing beside Dr when it's called in. Meditation that is must have. When we call to see what's going on and if filled we will get a run around and nasty attitude. We refuse to use this pharmacy again. I will travel out of town just to avoid Kroger pharmacy. Unless you prefer to go without your needed medication I would recommend any other pharmacy. Kroger pharmacy you need to get your act together or replace every tech and pharmacist located in this pharmacy. Kroger pharmacy in cookeville tn is a joke. If you have to have your medication or you WILL be in the hospital go anywhere else.

Kroger pharmacy in Cookeville is the worse I have ever been to. We moved here five weekend weeks ago. We have been four times to the pharmacy to pickup medicine. Yesterday they could not fine my husbands prescription. They did reprint the label and fill his prescription. Just the wait times.
My prescription was the wrong type of pill and the cost went from $9.00 to $96.00. I called my Dr’s office and ask them to please call in the correct prescription. We will have to drive one hour to pickup the correct one. I have not had my prescription for the last week.
Things like this has happened all four times. We knew that it would time to get our pharmacy correct but not this.
We moved from Hermitage, TN and have always used Kroger’s. They always took care of us. We love living here but think it is time to look for different pharmacy. I wish Kroger’s in Hermitage could mail our med’s to us each month. I would trust them.
Looking for new pharmacy in east TN.
We are sad! 😢

Best grocery store in town with wide selection of fresh foods and vegetables. Extremely well managed and staffed with a central core of long-term, experienced employees (United Food and Commercial Workers Union) that are well paid, respected, and treated. They can tell you which aisle has what you are looking for without looking at an inventory, even outside their own department. Open most days 24 hours, seven days a week.
