Leslie, who I was told had just graduated high school, could not find a vein and continued sticking me repeatedly. It was extremely painful, and she kept nodding in and out as if she couldn’t stay alert. When I politely asked if she could get someone more experienced to assist her, she scolded me. She even bragged to me that she had been drinking the night before with another employee named Ricky. To be clear, Ricky seemed very professional, so I’m not sure why she thought sharing that information was appropriate—or why she believed it made her falling asleep during the service acceptable. On top of that, she was on her phone the entire time—completely unprofessional. I spoke with management, but they seemed overwhelmed and even admitted that they had received multiple complaints about her. If that’s the case, I don’t understand why she’s allowed to work unsupervised. Other than that, the pay was decent even though I did have to wait an additional couple of hours to receive my payment.
