Poor customer servive. They say they are waiting for paperwork from Fr. Dr says they have sent all requested docs. Everytime I call I grt the same excuse. Poor followup from this company. This CONTINUEED delay is going to cost me alot of money because this delay will put it into next year so I have to pay the deductable that I cant afford. Oit of pocket for this year has been met so it would not have cost me anything. This has been going on for months. Starting to believe they are partners with Insurance co so they help with the delay so ins doestnt have to pay 100%. I will never use this co again. Good posibility when it gets approved I may just refuse delivery beacuse I wont be able to afford the out of pocket....then they will say "WE HAVE FINANCING AVAIL". YEAH RIGHT. No thanks . All the work they SAY they have been doing will be for nothing..

The worst company I've ever dealt with. Stay away from these heartless crooks. Ordered my little boys wheelchair 6 months ago and they still haven't done anything. Just called and they said could be 4 to 8 weeks more until insurance approval. He's going to need refitting before he gets it. Stay away

Zero stars if possible. Five months in and still no wheelchair and insurance says the order has been canceled twice by them. Apparently, working with the disabled in need of equipment is not a strength of theirs.

Iv had a horrible experience with them. They seem nice, yet nothing gets taken care of like it needs to be. I have been trying with them for 2 years on getting my wife a new wheelchair cushion. She has had hers since 2020 and the company doesn't make it anymore. So we have went down the rabbit hole of them forgetting about us. Making us believe that they had no options on cushions, to where she felt like she had to accept it. Then they forgot to mail it to us, to us getting a custom one eventually the next year like her old one. Then finding out its nothing like it. Then after them not getting back in touch with me, to me having to call the main office. To finally them saying they have a few now that might work and knowing shes not able to sit up well saying they cant bring them out to our house when they can do it knowing its a far drive for anyone that can barely sit up. Its just not acceptable. They can come out to adjust the wheelchair, yet they can't come out to help her find the right wheelchair cushion???? Tell me how this makes sense??? These guys aren't very helpful at all on finding my wife the right one. Its taking far too long. Shes not able to do normal things. She hurts cause hers is wore out, yet they are over there pushing us off till i call coorperate!!! Please do better!!!!

Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?

Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
