I had progressive (bifocal) glasses made at the Lenscrafters that I cannot use because the lenses are of very poor quality. They have an extremely small 'sweet spot' where the vision is clear; if you look slightly to the side, everything becomes blurry. I tried to get used to them, but I couldn't. Due to the Christmas holidays, I missed the one-month return window. When I approached the company, they refused to help me at all. I basically threw over $500 down the drain—especially frustrating since I am on the limited income and had to pay whole amount for my glasses out of packet. When I went to another company, they explained that there are three levels of lens quality and that this place sold me the cheapest option at a premium price without explaining the difference. I advise everyone to avoid them if possible; they offer no support or empathy toward their customers.

Never have a problem getting a quick appointment. Prices are competitive and affordable! If u go in the mall at the JCPenney entrance, go upstairs and it is on the right when u walk into the mall from JCPenney.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
