- KKkim kimFeb 19, 20205.0I was new in town and needed a crown put on an implant and post done before I moved. Trying out a new dentist to finish up such a major process made me a bit stressed. Dr Van Zyl was wonderful! He was gentle, patient, thorough, and forthcoming about what to expect. He took a mold and had a new tooth fit very well within a little over a week because of my out of town schedule. I couldnt believe how well the tooth fit! was worried about needing adjustment during my trip. But once the crown was in, it just felt natural! Then my night guard cracked. Dr Van Zyl made me a new one. So happy. Next time I hope I only need to go to dentist for a cleaning:) Love this dentist! Especially since I am usually the nightmare patient. If something has a chance of going wrong, it usually does with me. The office staff is wonderful! They are very good about reminding you of upcoming appointments through email and text too. Love this because life gets busy!

While running from a storm named "Florence" that was wrecking my hometown Wilmington, NC, I landed in Chattanooga, TN. A few days later, I cracked and had an infection in my tooth and was referred to Dr. Van Zyl. He fit me in the next day! He was gentle and professional, just like it states in his ad and I had little to no pain! The staff and Dr. Van Zyl are very professional and know their stuff! They put me at ease. They're as beautiful inside as they are on the outside and I highly recommend Fit Dental Center!
