She literally said then what are we doing here... Tone changed I instantly.. Do you not think I may have money to pay for it ? Very rude and off-putting rep. I found the complete opposite from Numed I would have thought jones being the little guy would have cared more but nope...

Now I’m still on hold while typing this review. I’m not taking a chance on pressing 1 for them to call back. They didnt return my call when i left a message the first time. Soon they will be closing. 26 minutes on hold . I’ll find somewhere else to call. When it was jones mobility I didn’t have this problem.

If you need any sort of mobility aid or equipment in the kingsport/Blountville and surrounding area please do yourself a favor and use them for all your needs. They do all the work with insurances help with any issues you have with your equipment and help educate you on anything you might not know about your equipment. No question or issue is too small for them and I adore that about them. They don't rush through your visits and give you all the opportunity you need to ask questions or learn whatever you need to for your equipment. This place has been such a huge help to me and idk what I would have done without them when I was in need of a wheelchair and ROHO cushion. They work with all sorts of different equipment so if you need anything give them a shout They may be able to help you!! Thank you guys for such amazing care and help and attention to detail you've gone through to help me!!! Idk where I'd be without you!!! I'd recommend them to ANYONE needing assistance with any equipment or mobility aid.. 😁💙

How can I work with NSM for my mobility needs?
National Seating & Mobility is a member of your rehabilitation health care team. We work with your physician, nurses and therapists to provide a one-of-a-kind mobility solution customized to your needs and preferences. Because we work in a partnership with your health care team, we require a referral from them in order to be your mobility provider. To help ensure your choice of NSM, you should request that your physician and/or therapist select us as your provider of choice.
How long does it take to get a new power wheelchair from NSM?
NSM strives to complete each timeline phase as quickly as possible without compromising any step in the process. Please refer to this page for the full timeline. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
Do I have a choice of which mobility solutions company to use?
The choice of a wheeled mobility supplier is yours. Discuss your decision with your physician and therapist.
