- EBEsther BersabalJan 24, 20261.0On January 3rd, I booked an eye checkup appointment online at Specs on Confederation for January 23rd, and received a confirmation immediately after booking. On January 22nd, I also received an email reminder confirming my appointment. Based on this, I requested a half day off from work. When I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that there was no doctor available and that the earliest appointment would be in April, due to what was described as a system glitch. This was disappointing, especially since I had received both a confirmation and a reminder, and had already made work arrangements. I understand that technical issues can happen, but I hope this concern can be taken into consideration, as the situation caused inconvenience on my end.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
