Instead, staff told me there was an “issue” with my prescription and directed me to shop for frames. An hour later, I still had no prescription. When I asked, they seemed surprised I hadn’t picked out glasses. I left without it. After learning my rights, I called back and was told “technical difficulties.” I returned the next day and was handed a paper that lacked a doctor’s signature and exam date—making it invalid. No apology, just a vague promise to “fax it Monday.” Withholding a prescription to push frame sales, then providing an incomplete document, is a clear violation of federal law. Very disappointing experience.
