  I don't write many reviews and I don't think I have ever written a negative one but I feel I should with this recent experience. To start I was going to be charged for a service (retinal scan) I didn't need (had it done recently by an ophthamologist... and most people with minor vision issues don't need). Thankfully the optometrist waived the mandatory $39 fee. I only wanted to re-order my current contact prescription which had expired, but was told I should try a different contact Rx so I did, not realizing there would be an $85 charge for it (was never told). I have a $60 deductible for contact lens fitting (which I didn't even want), but Target Optical would not help me with insurance to try to get at least some of my money back (it's not alot but it's the principle of the matter). Then finally got the right Rx so I can reorder my current contacts and it was a couple hundred bucks lower than the first Rx. So I made her aware of it. She was sure. I left and came back and ask her to check again. Oh... sorry the quote I printed was for 30, not 90 contacts. After actually checking, she finally discovered what was wrong but couldn't price out what I needed... said their system wouldn't let her. So yes... pretty crappy experience this time. Not sure I should even give it a one star.

  I have used this location before and was very pleased. I made an online appointment for a few days in the future. ONE HOUR before the appointment I got a text saying there would be a MANDATORY CHARGE of $39.00 for a Optomap scan. Under my insurance, my eye exam is supposed to be free. No more business from me. Update: I see you post the same reply to everyone. lol That's some great customer service you have there. No, I won't be contacting you. I have already made my appointment elsewhere. Get with the program, your customers deserve respect!
