I was recovering from week old hip replacement surgery when I needed emergency psychiatric dementia care for a relative. Amber actually came to the hospital (kids in tow since it was after school) and helped us navigate trying to have them admitted. She arranged emergency round the clock care when they were not admitted immediately. It was such a relief to have someone helping out when I was not able to do things myself. As I said in my note to her afterward, “I cannot thank you enough for the time and expertise that you and the people who work for you devoted to helping us during such a stressful time. Our family will be forever grateful.”

The only reason we stayed with the company for 6 months was because of our caregiver. There is terrible communication between patients and the company. They missed scheduling a caregiver multiple times, but again we had good communication with our caregiver. They failed to let us know as of January 16th they had no PRN caregivers, and set schedules need to be fixed. They failed to let us know by mail, email, or by phone of these changes at all. We found out about these changes when we tried to schedule a caregiver and now we are in a bind. When we called they just said sorry, no assistance at all. The company was bought out and basically doesn't exist anymore.
