Club Pilates North Myrtle Beach is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
I am very puzzled by recent reviews by people that have never been in studio that are negative…. Perhaps from disgruntled past employees?? My experience for the last 3+ years is nothing but positive at the North Myrtle Beach studio…..the owner is engaging in your wellness journey…. She has only top teachers but has changed my personal wellness journey. I love the members and all the wonderful instructors that challenge me every single class but make sure I am doing correct moves so no injuries…. The studio always clean and cheerful upon arrival. Very concerned and confused why some small group of people want to write these reviews. I thank the owner and every teacher to help me in my journey and wellness goals!!

The studio owner comes across as disrespectful, dismissive, and rude, even in front of members. It created a really uncomfortable and negative atmosphere that didn’t match the welcoming, professional vibe you’d expect from a Pilates studio.
You can tell the employees work hard and care about what they do, but the owner’s attitude makes it hard to enjoy the experience. I wouldn’t recommend supporting a business that treats its team this way.

I worked as an Assistant General Manager at Club Pilates and unfortunately had a very negative experience. While the brand promotes health and empowerment, my time there was marked by disrespect, poor communication, and a lack of professionalism from ownership.
Even after resigning, I faced continued issues — including delayed responses and lack of clarity regarding my final paycheck and commissions. Communication was ignored for days, and only after multiple follow-ups did I finally receive a reply confirming payment. This type of treatment toward employees is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of organization and accountability.
I would strongly caution anyone considering employment here to ask clear questions about pay structure, leadership, and communication practices before accepting a position. The studio culture does not reflect the positive values that Club Pilates publicly claims to stand for.

I started my fitness journey 87 days ago, and during that time, I joined a Club Pilates studio near me. My home studio is in Clarksville, TN, which is a 1½-hour drive one way, but I’ve stayed fully committed.i have completed 4 months of classes. At my age and starting point health-wise, I wasn’t comfortable with where I was — but thank God I decided to start!
From day one, the Clarksville team has been welcoming, informative, supportive, and kind. They’ve made me feel capable and confident, always taking time to ensure I’m doing movements safely and correctly.
So, when it came time for my family vacation, I didn’t want to fall off track. I reached out to the North Myrtle Beach location to book classes for myself and my mom. After a few missed calls, we finally connected — the woman on the phone was pleasant and helpful.
Unfortunately, our in-studio experience was very different. When we arrived, the front desk staff was curt and condescending. I brushed it off and got ready for class, but the instructor’s tone and approach made the entire session uncomfortable. Correction is one thing — I actually appreciate feedback — but this was different. The instructor was rude, belittling, and demeaning, speaking to several participants in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh. Comments like “You need to do what I’m telling you,” and “Don’t watch anyone else, she’s doing it wrong too,” also “ Everyone needs to watch me. Several people are doing everything incorrectly “ it created a tense and discouraging atmosphere.
If that had been my first Pilates class, it likely would’ve been my last. Afterward, I checked the reviews and saw the studio only had 3.2 stars, which unfortunately matched the overall vibe.
I’m so grateful my home studio in Clarksville set the bar high and showed me what Pilates can truly be — empowering, safe, and supportive. Pilates has helped me so much, and I’d hate for anyone to be turned away from it because of one negative experience.
Wishing everyone better luck and more positivity on your journey! 💪✨

The owner’s attitude toward clients is shockingly disrespectful and completely unprofessional. The staff themselves are fantastic—friendly and professional—but the owner ruins what could otherwise be a great studio.
I’ve practiced at several Pilates studios and never encountered such hostility. It’s so disheartening to see employees and customers forced to tolerate this kind of awful behavior. No one should have to tiptoe around someone just to take a class focused on health and wellness.
I strongly recommend choosing a different studio unless you like walking on eggshells. And if you do try this one, double-check for surprise unexpected charges.
