  Heather NP was AWESOME! We worked together to come up with a great medical plan so that my child can recover. She was friendly, personable and took her time. She answered all questions and listened to my feedback as well. SouthernMed is a wonderful branch filled with awesome staff! The receptionist Miss Donna is so down to earth and such a sweetheart! With healthcare declining it's rare to find a Doctor who actually cares. Thank you all so much for the wonderful and prompt service!

  Excellent Pediatric Care at Southern Med Pediatrics (Edgefield / North Augusta) I had a great experience at Southern Med Pediatrics in Edgefield North Augusta. Their 7‑day care availability is a huge relief for parents, especially when something comes up over the weekend. The staff is friendly, the providers are experienced, and they truly listen to every concern. All of my questions were answered promptly, and my son received the best care during our visit. Scheduling is very convenient—appointments and check‑ins can be done online, which saves a lot of time. They also accept walk‑ins; you just need to fill out paperwork. Insurance is accepted as well, which makes the whole process even smoother. Overall, this has become my go‑to place for my child’s sick visits whenever our primary pediatrician is closed. I highly recommend Southern Med Pediatrics for reliable, caring, and accessible pediatric care.

  They are the most caring staff. Ms Heather loves children and will go the extra mile to find the problem. She does not rush you through, she takes time. They are the best.
