    I do not recommend anyone use this pharmacy. I used Kroger pharmacies in GA for years and when I moved to SC, it made sense to continue using Harris Teeter since their systems are linked under the Kroger company. I’ve had issues with them since day 1. Every single time I would go in and give them my full name and date of birth they would call me by someone else’s name and try to give me someone else’s medications and I would correct them every time. I never understood it, and when I finally questioned them on it, they got extremely defensive and rude. One of the women who typically handles prescription pickups is without fail rude and inpatient every single time and treats customers like they are bothering her by needing their medicine. My final straw was after my insurance changed. I’ve had the same insurance my entire life and I’m still learning how this new insurance works. I explained to them I wasn’t entirely sure about this new program, and they proceeded to humiliate me because I didn’t understand why Harris Teeter would no longer be in-network. Instead of just explaining it, they berated me and made me feel stupid and it got to the point I left the store in tears. NOW I’m trying to transfer all of my prescriptions to Walgreens, and when Walgreens called Harris Teeter, they’re claiming they don’t have a single active prescription on file for me. That’s odd considering I can see several dozen listed on the Kroger website with active refills available. Instead of dealing with this pharmacy, I’m just going to start calling all of my doctors for new scripts to be sent directly to Walgreens. The management at this Harris Teeter and the pharmacist need to reevaluate their staff and the lack of customer service they’re allowing by their employees. It’s unacceptable. Stay far away.

    Great grocery store all around. Excellent customer service, best produce in town with a wonderful butcher shop. Highly recommend.
