I had such a pleasant experience today obtaining new lens. I worked with Trey who inspired confidence in me as he measured for the lens I now need. What a great conversation we had during the process. It's not the store, but the employees who make a business successful. I could tell everyone on that team was wonderful.

First of all—Bernadette is an outstanding salesperson. She was caring and incredibly understanding about what I wanted in a pair of glasses. She answered every single question I had—she’s a wealth of knowledge—and I can’t wait to do business with her again soon to get prescription lenses made for my Ray-Ban sunglasses.

When I made my first initial purchase it was fine. I had to return a pair and was looking for another pair. I wanted to know how much a pair of glasses were with my insurance and they couldn’t tell me. I was kind of confused on how they couldn’t tell me. I was told they couldn’t see the break down until after I made the purchase. Which I thought was weird. I just couldn’t understand and was told I would have to look up something with my insurance. But I had two workers talking to me and I just got overwhelmed . So I wanted to just return my glasses get my refund and maybe come back another day. One employee maybe a manager couldn’t get it and kept asking what she could do and said she thought we were cool and about how well are last visit was. I don’t know you this is business and now you bringing unnecessary attention. I kept saying I’m tired, I’m overstimulated and just want my return. It’s like they wanted me to get upset. They need to work on customer service and how to assist there customers. If a customer stated they are tired, overstimulated just want to return glasses and come back another day to buy. Learn to accept that and be pleasant. It was just too overwhelming for me and more stressful. They weren’t helpful with answering my question. I ended up going to another LensCrafters who had great customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable , answered my question about how much a pair glasses would cost me with my insurance and it was very easy and less stressful. If your looking for a great LensCrafters location go to the one in columbiana mall!!!

I was very impressed by everyone I encountered at Lenscrafters, from the salesperson to the nurse tech to the doctor. The technology was fabulous. Everyone made me feel completely at ease. Especially during my exam, the tech and doctor made me feel calm during my exam. I felt it was as thorough an exam as I would have gotten from an ophthalmologist or an in-person optometrist. I left feeling confident that I'd been appropriately checked for eye issues and that my prescription would be accurate. The store had plenty of inventory. I left with both contacts (which are great) and a glasses order, which I'm excited about receiving.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
