Showed up 20 mins early for my appointment at 1:20p.m. to have someone come at 1:10 still got ahead of me to see the eye doctor. Bad customer service yesterday I must add when there were 4 ppl on the floor just sitting around the desk while I waited til almost 2p.m. to be seen late by the doctor while I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance. Bad customer service

I scheduled an appointment for my wife and I to be seen by the optometrist here which was a simple process. However, when I needed to cancel that same appointment, I was told it was "against HIPAA" for me to do so. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of the HIPAA law which protects patient privacy. Canceling an appointment does not involve disclosing any private health information. I was not asking for test results or a diagnosis, just to perform the basic administrative task of canceling an appointment that I, myself, had made. The staff member, Jay, refused to escalate the issue or check with a supervisor, leaving us with no way to cancel without my wife having to take time out of her own workday to call herself, or be billed $50 for a no show charge. This kind of inflexibility and incorrect use of "HIPAA" as a blanket excuse for poor customer service is incredibly frustrating. We will be seeking a more professionally run practice for our eyecare needs.

It took a while but thanks to the asst mgr (I hate that i forgot her name) I have my glasses! My frustration was at an all time high last visit and she couldn’t have been more patient with me. (I would have asked me to leave lol) then was pleasant when I came back in for my glasses that were redone AND gave me a coupon for drops for me! She truly deserves 10 stars!

I had such a great experience at LensCrafters (Sandhill) thanks to Asonte – she was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and confident, which is something I’ve never really felt when shopping for glasses. She really took the time to get to know my style and face shape, and somehow knew exactly what would look best on me — even before I did! I ended up trying on several pairs I never would have picked for myself, and I was shocked by how great they looked. Her eye for style is incredible, and she made the whole process fun and relaxed instead of overwhelming. If you're looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and genuinely cares about helping you feel your best, ask for Asonte. She’s a gem!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
