Literally had the RUDEST experience here. I’ve been going to Len’s crafters for years, and I’ve never been treated in this manner. Well firstly, I made an eye appointment online for 10/4, couldn’t make that so I rescheduled for 10/18. Unfortunately, I had to cancel that, and I decided to not book again until I was able to find an actual appointment time that’s feasible for me. I get a text today from them, indicating that due to the excessive cancellations, I was no longer able to book. Firstly, life happens, when did rescheduling become an issue? Secondly, the message claimed that I rescheduled my cancelled appt for 11/8 when I KNOW for a fact I did NOT. I specifically didn’t make an appointment because I wasn’t sure how my schedule would work. There was an extremely rude lady that picked up the phone when I called. She claimed I rescheduled and cancelled for a total of 4 times, when I know for a fact that what she stated was not accurate. Also, she was extremely rude from initial conversation. I called stating that my appointment was inaccurately scheduled and that I never scheduled that 11/8 appointment, or 4 in total and she began speaking over me, wouldn’t even allow for me to get a word in. I had to literally tell her to stop talking just to get her to LISTEN. It’s rude to tell clients to not book an appointment at an establishment all because of their wonky online scheduling system. I only scheduled here because it’s close to where I live, and also I like their designer eyewear selection, but after this, I will definitely not visit this particular location. I reported the employee to corporate. Not sure what it will do, but I hope it’ll prevent others from being treated in the manner I was treated. She was very patronizing, sarcastic, and condescending. Would not recommend doing business at this location.

Had an appointment at 4:30 and 5:00. Cancelled the 4:30 and kept the 5:00. Drove from Fairfield County for them to say that my appointment was cancelled. No notification or anything. Associates were very unhelpful. Do not, I repeat DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!

This store is terrific! My wife and I both bought glasses here after being dissatisfied with the quality of the glasses we were buying from another nearby optics store.
We got JEAN as our optician. She was wonderful. Very professional, yet with a lovely personal touch. We are both quite happy. We both chose the same frames! I recommend this store and especially JEAN.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
