I was able to get a same-day appointment through their online scheduling. Dr. Arafat was thorough and took his time answering all of my questions and explaining my options. The staff members were very friendly and provided excellent help getting checked in/out and also selecting lenses/frames. The store is HUGE and had a wide variety of glasses to choose from in a variety of price ranges. The whole appointment (with frame selection) took around an hour. I would highly recommend checking them out!

I had a good experience at LensCrafters! Samer Arafat was kind and professional, and made my eye exam comfortable. Summer was also wonderful she helped me find a new pair of glasses and was sweet! Both made a positive experience.

Shenae (Salesperson 670451, Charleston, SC) was awesome!!!👏🏾 She helped me to completely understand each step for getting my new eyewear. I have never worn glasses and Dr. Powers provided a comprehensive eye exam (He was truly helpful and walked me through the best options moving forward and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand) and following that Mrs. Shenae was beyond great at getting me fitted and set up for a new pair of glasses. After reassuring me of my selections through answering all my questions, Mrs. Shenae was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable about the brands sold in the store, and made the experience very genuine. Thank you LensCrafters team for having such great people to work for your company; Shenae is definitely an exact representation of the company's vision of "where expertise meets excellence", we are so grateful to work with her today💕

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
