Worst Pilates experience ever. Most of their teachers have no idea what real Pilates is, they're overbooked so you'll get stuck with their worst teachers, and they don't care at all. This is a fast food version of Pilates. If you want the real thing, do not go here.

I always leave asking did I even workout or was that a waste of an hour??.. I wish I could take a level 2 class, but they require 30-60 level 1 classes before you can move up, even if you have past experience at other pilates places.. This could be OK for people who just want to lightly move their body, but if you're looking for results or a real workout, I don't think its worth it.

I'm very indifferent about my experience. First of all, the intro class they offer isn't a real class. It's 30 minutes of an instructor explaining the machines and the general idea of the classes. Second of all, you have to give 30 days notice to cancel your membership. So, if you're like me (2 your children and a M-f job) when you sign up you pretty much have to commit to 2 months or $489 (170/month for 8 classes+149 registration). This seemed like a huge commitment, especially since the "free" class wasn't even a real class and #2 when you begin there, you can only take the level 1 classes which there's only 1 class offered in the evening. For me, I would really only be able to make it to the 5-6 pm. I wanted a full month with 8 classes to evaluate if that was going to be feasible with my family life. Patty at the front said she would have the owner call me. However, she never called and had Patty call me back to relay the message that the owner was looking for "real members" and if I wanted to try out a class I could buy the single classes for $50/class. Hard pass. I really researched reformer Pilates and was super excited for a new type of workout. However, I will likely just go back to being a "real member" at orange theory or Hi-Lo.

A few things to note: overall Club Pilates is a great studio but I’ve given it three stars because classes are always scheduled full so it’s hard to establish a routine and they need to offer more evening classes. A 7pm class for mixed levels would be awesome, twice a week. I also wish they would play music, most times we would be working out in near silence and I really struggled with that. Especially in jump board classes, blast the tunes — make it energetic! I even thought of wearing my own AirPods in one ear. I hope with the new studio opening in west Ashley this will open up availability for classes.

Just took a class with Colleen. She was awesome. Clear direction. She kept us moving throughout the whole class. It felt wonderful!
