- MMMichael McKinneyMar 18, 20262.0This review is specific to the Abbeville SC Office. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early at 9:25. The receptionist was very nice and cleared me in after a few minutes of administrative forms and looking at my Medicare Card to see if I was still eligible for coverage (I'm 78 years old). The time for my 9:40 appointment came and went. After 30 more minutes of waiting I enquired if there was some problem. The receptionist said "30 minutes isn't a long time to wait" and checked in back. I was told that I would be the next person called. Over the next 30 minutes three more patients were called. After an hour of waiting I asked again if there was problem. A lady from the back came out and said, "An hour isn't a long time to wait, we had a patient last week that had to wait two and a half hours." At that point I asked them to reschedule my appointment to the Anderson Office. Overscheduling is not only unacceptable, it is a sign that the office is in cash-flow trouble and is trying to make a quota by piling patients in a waiting room for hours.

The writeup from my visit was totally inaccurate. I had a biopsy and was told to see the dermatologist about it. My visit was specific to the biopsy results. The doctor's notes said i was there about something totally different. I posted a message about this and have never heard anything. Kind of scare to think they don't even know why you were there!!!!
