  Call me old and pleasantly surprised! I went to Eyemart Express thinking if I bought glasses today it would be a couple weeks before my prescription was ready . After choosing the lenses and the classy frames I was told they would be ready in an HOUR ! Good Grief and hour ?? Well I'm blown away with my whole purchasing experience! And , I love my new specs !!

  I took my daughter to get her eyes examined and to purchase glasses today, so this review reflects both. The eye exam was fine. The nurse was nice and the optometrist was nice. Everything was pretty standard and I had no problem on this side of the store. So for the eye exam 4/5 Unfortunately, I have to give the sales side a 2/5 so far (it's going to be 2 weeks before I get the glasses I purchased, but that's forgivable since it's a high prescription). I have vision insurance and specifically chose frames well within the allowance my insurance gives. Because my daughter is young, polycarbonate is covered. I expected to pay a little extra for her higher prescription and a little extra for the discounted coating (my insurance covers about 30% on these), but what should've been an out of pocket expense of maybe $100 at most was actually nearly double that. Why? The UltraXHD bundle. Let me be clear, this bundle with a polycarbonate "upgrade" is $270. I had no idea. I didn't know the line item prices until after I paid. Why? The sales person said she couldn't see the price until after everything was put in. I asked for anti scratch (polycarbonate is by nature already anti scratch) and anti reflective and she told me she was going to bundle it because that's the most cost effective, so ok. She had me sign a consent form to bill me, but I thought that was to use my insurance, and then I paid and then I saw the sales pitch. $421 after all was said and done. Sure, my insurance covered half of that. What they covered though? Not exactly sure. The line items are not clear and it's going to be a week or so before the EOB pops up on my insurance. So, for anyone who wants to know how much the premium upgrade is, here's the breakdown: Poly SV UltraXHD UltraXBlu (2 lens) $54.95 UltraXBlu $25 (blue light filter) UltraXAR $85 (anti reflective) Variable Aspheric $45 (high astigmatism fee, I think) Polycarbonate Upgrade $60 For a total of $269.95 There's an HD 1 year frame warranty that's free as it's included, but the premium warranty (which I didn't know I was paying for a premium warranty, mind you) is $49.95 Plus frames and sales tax So, thank you for maxing out my insurance coverage and padding the sale. It's not like cost of living is straining my grocery budget, or anything. Oh, and had you guys been honest, I still would've purchased from you, just gotten what my insurance covered. Now? I'm sticking to Zenni. At least they let me see the cost breakdown before I buy.

The incredible value of the two pairs of glasses I purchased was the perfect culmination, leaving me absolutely thrilled and excited to come back.

  I would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could! All of the ladies were extremely kind and helpful. They made me feel at home, they were patient and very informative. Dr. Hoover was wonderful! Came in with his cup of coffee and started with fun conversation. Thanks to everyone for such a great experience.

  Marysa was amazing. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I always dread shopping for glasses. Marysa made it very easy and quick. I showed her my old glasses and said I wanted something similar. Without hesitation she pulled two pairs of glasses and said try these. I loved them both. I have never picked glasses I loved so fast. My glasses and sunglasses were ready for pickup not even an hour after I purchased them. I was impressed with their large selection in store for everyone to include kids. The store is very clean. I went back because my glasses were too tight. Marysa looked at my glasses on my face, immediately knew the adjustments that needed to be made, and the adjustments were perfect and fixed the issue. They also have multiple discounts to make glasses affordable to include military and first responder discounts. I highly recommend Eyemart Express and will not go anywhere else for glasses.
