I was online scheduling an appointment, the system placed a 15-minute hold on the selected time. I was only three minutes into completing the appointment and the system would not let me proceed. I called the office for assistance.
The young lady who answered the phone was rude and unprofessional. She was laughing while answering the call, which immediately felt disrespectful. When I explained that I was booking an appointment online, she told me that I was taking too long and stated that someone had called in and that she had the power to take the appointment away from me. Her tone and behavior were inappropriate and upsetting.
I called back and requested to speak with a manager. I spoke with Rosanna, who stated that she was the manager. While she was polite and pleasant, the issue was not resolved
Patients should be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when dealing with medical appointments.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve both the online scheduling process and staff professionalism.
