When my kids were born, I sold my Honda Shadow 500, and didn't ride again until 2 years ago, when we spent the summer in RI.
I walked into the showroom and Phil walked and talked me through every bike there and on the lot, in which I had interest. He helped me make the transition from the smallest of the big bikes some 25 years ago, to one of his scooters, simply, naturally and confidently. I felt fully informed over the two days in which I walked in, and by the time I made my decision the next day. And the only reason that process took even a couple days, is bc I brought my family into the equation regarding style, power and color, and he delivered it to our rental, 50 minutes away, for a nominal fee, early that morning of the 3rd day.
We all love the 169cc scooter "we" chose, and I'm convinced Phil and wife, Cheryl's proactive attention and experienced advice through the process helped us make the exactly correct decision.
Because I live out of state, my licensing and plate registration was much more complicated, than a RI resident would ever experience. Phil issued me the 30-day temporary plate allowing me to drive for a month in RI before I needed new plates from my own state, where I had to travel back to our DMV (about 3 hours away) and get that state's license and renew my motorcycle status on my driver's license.
The issue was that I paid tax in RI, and then again in my state, where my DMV people weren't fully informed. Without getting into any more detail, I must have shared emails and texts with both Phil and Cheryl, until it all got worked out about 13 months after the purchase, and after my state finally reimbursed me for their mistaken charge for our state taxes, telling me at the time that RI owed me. "RI didn't," as Cheryl informed me over the phone after both she and Phil spent quite some time talking to RI state tax authorities on my behalf.
They were both proactive and nothing but positive and helpful throughout the process.
There's a reason why The Scooter Palace is the #1 scooter dealer in all of RI. And I've just given you a perfect real-life example of exactly that reason via my personal and very true (and too long) story.
I'd recommend Scooter Palace to anyone in RI -- or any state -- to do business with. You'll get hands-on customer service, patience, knowledge and very good pricing from them on any of their products and services. I can't say enough about Scooter Palace.

Phil and Cheryl have implemented an excellent business model - provide a great product, care about your customer and continually exceed your customers' expectations.
