  My mother had delirium, which is common and temporary in elderly patients. Delirium is frightening to witness for the uneducated. This is why it is important to have modern staff. Nurse Ratchet at this place wanted my mom to be committed to a psych ward! This would have greatly exacerbated her delirium and possibly led to over medication, long stays, huge expenses, heartache for our family. Instead we brought mom back to her memory care living, her comfortable bed, with freedom to move around and she completely cleared up in a day. These places need staff that are up-to-date and care about the patients as family would.

  This nursing home is a cut above the rest, they took great care of my aunt. Highly recommended by this man. Wonderful staff, good food, very clean and safety oriented. A perfect place to ensure proper care of your loved ones.

  My father was transferred here after a broken arm/ribs and the it was a miserable, depressing experience for him. Since he was prone to falls, he was kept in a chair in the noisy common area most of the day (and this was for 24 hours until we complained). We had to complain about a lot of care issues and couldn't be happier when we managed to transfer him to a much more caring and attentive facility.

  I went to Bethany for rehab care after surgery, and it was wonderful. Great staff, good food, the best PT and OT treatment, lots of extras - beauty services, a lovely dining room, therapy dog! I expected professional help I received, but not all the lovely intangibles. If I need skilled care again I would choose Bethany first, no question.
