    My experience at your office was terrible from the very beginning. I requested that a painful tooth be removed, but Dr. Sridevi Boppana repeatedly pressured me to purchase a $3,200 bridge instead. I made it clear several times that I was not interested. The tooth was in the back of my mouth, and I only wanted it extracted. After being prescribed antibiotics for ten days due to an infection, I returned for the extraction appointment. Once again, Dr. Boppana asked me about the bridge—this was the fifth time she had done so—and again I declined. During the procedure, she administered two shots of Novocain, then left the room for approximately 25 minutes while talking on her cell phone. By the time she returned, the anesthetic had started to wear off, and I could feel pain in the tooth. She came in wearing a visibly dirty white coat and began the extraction. When I told her it was painful, she told me to “relax” because she was “doing all the work.” I had to touch her arm to make her stop, at which point she reluctantly gave me another shot of Novocain—but didn’t wait for it to take effect before resuming. The entire extraction was painful and traumatic. It felt cruel and unnecessary, as if she were taking out her frustration on me for refusing the bridge. Once the tooth was removed, she roughly packed my mouth with gauze, handed me more, and left the room without a word. I do want to acknowledge Carmen, who was compassionate and professional. She replaced the dirty gauze, provided fresh ones, and gave me clear aftercare instructions. When I returned home, I took Tylenol and applied ice, but the pain was excruciating—far worse than when I had all my wisdom teeth removed by another dentist. This experience left me physically hurt and deeply shaken. Dr. Boppana demonstrated a lack of both skill and empathy. I would not recommend her to anyone.
