Everyone there was very kind and friendly. Mandy was fantastic with me and very attentive to my problems and needs. Maya was also so kind and thoughtful and right on the ball. My experience there was A+++ and I came out feeling much better than when I first started.

I have spent the last 6 weeks or more, twice a week in Bay State Physical Therapy. I began this journey, very achy and with limited movement and ended with almost all trace of limitations gone. Andrea was amazing with her assessment, therapies, and homework. She has a gift of knowing/feeling challenged areas especially in massage. Thank you, Andrea. And Raphael filled in when she was away, ensuring my healing continued with his expertise. Thank you, Raphael! Thank you to Maia for always setting up the comforting heat and perfect electrical stimulation for my muscles. Thank you to Lynne for helping me with scheduling, payments, etc. I am grateful to all the staff who were always friendly and professional during my therapy. I have been to other PT offices before and by far this office goes above and beyond in their care and treatment of patients. Judy J
Frequently Asked Questions About Bay State Physical Therapy
How long will it take for me to get an appointment?
We try to get all of our New Patients in for care within 24-48 hours or at the patients earliest convenient time. We will then work to schedule all follow ups for the patient when it fits into their schedules.
How long ill each visit be?
typically we see all of our patients for 50-60 minutes. We make sure that we address and issues that arise with manual techniques, then reinforce any treatment with the appropriate stretching and strengthening.
Does your clinic use modalities?
Yes, as an adjunct we do incorporate modalities to your treatment when indicated. Some of the more commonly used are moist heat, Ultrasound, Cold light laser and electrical stimulation. These modalities help reduce pain, inflammation and muscle spasm while improving circulation and tissue healing. This in combination with manual techniques and exercise can facilitate an improved desired outcome.
Will Physical Therapy Hurt?
Some Discomfort can occur during treatment, but therapy should not cause severe pain. Your Therapist will Adjust treatments as needed.
Do you treat pre- and post-surgical conditions?
Yes. We provide Physical therapy care for both before and after orthopedic surgery to help support strength, mobility, and functional recovery, following physician or surgeon guidance when applicable.
