My husband and I went to the lens crafters Angrignon to return a pair of glasses that my husband didn't like. I told him that by the time you return, I will go and look for a pair of glasses. There was a guy named Jeff standing next to the cashier. I asked him to help me choose a frame. I had 2 pairs of glasses in my hands plus my own glasses, so I put my own glass in my pocket to have my hands free to try they new one, I was just talking to him and asking him which one looks better on me, at which point he said to me, "by the way what about the other glasses that you put in your pocket" I said what are talking about these are my glasses, than he says in your other pocket which I had my car keys and I showed him,. First, he denied having accused me of stealing; then he said he was sorry. Stealing is a serious accusation, and Lens Crafter should take this seriously. I was deeply upset to be accused of stealing. I am glad my husband returned his glasses and did not give more business to a company that so easily accuses potential customers of theft. He was also giving my husband a hard time about returning, saying I need a cash till receipt, which in Calgary they never gave to my husband. Maybe train employees to speak to customers. Response to your response: You say that Lens Crafter did not meet my expectations. I have an expectation that I do not get accused of stealing...that is an expectation of all customers....Nothing to correct. I wish for a shining start that you lose customers......

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
