- SPsylvain Paquette4 days ago1.0Suite à un accident qui m’a laissé dans l’incapacité de marcher pour quelques mois, on n’a donc visité cette entreprise spécialisé. En tout, 5 visites qui ont toutes eu le même dénouement. Service épouvantable, l’écoute du personnel très décevante et la connaissance des produits disponibles très limité.Nous avons tenté d’appeler avant de se déplacé mais…personne ne répond. Suite à ses expériences je sympathise vraiment avec les gens qui doivent encourager cette entreprise qui a le monopole dans la région.

M Bujold a été très courtois , polie et surtout efficace dans tout nos projets . Les travaux de construction été fait par Rénovation Marc Ayotte & fils. Eux aussi on fait un travail extraordinaire. Je les recommande à tous le monde qui on ce genre de travaux à exécuter.

Why must I see a doctor to get a wheelchair from NSM?
Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).
What if my medical condition changes?
Contact your local NSM branch and notify us of any changes that may affect the proper fit and function of your chair.
Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because it’s not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to “grow with the child”
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
