This will be a bit of a late review, I will admit, as I have been busy with my two jobs. On February 25th, my boyfriend and I came in to check our eyes. The blonde woman in glasses (who’s name I’ve unfortunately forgotten), was very kind and helpful. The issue came when I went back with the doctor to read the chart. As he began to ask me questions about the form I had filled out, he gave me an attitude about several things, such as: not knowing what type, or brand of contacts I wear & that I had left out the “contacts” section (the form stated: “I’m interested in contacts” which made me think it would have me do the contact evaluation which I was told is more money). I apologized each time. He cut me off several times & made snarky remarks with an attitude such as “that doesn’t help me” & “good thing you’re not wearing contacts since you don’t know how to use them”, amongst other things. As he was switching through the lenses, I could tell he was getting irritated & impatient, which made me anxious since I’m trying to make sure it’s right. When both sides were done, he gave me just one, QUICK look before removing the device, and having me leave. My boyfriend (who went first) would recall his experience being quite the opposite. At the front desk, I began to tear up just a bit from having a stranger be so rude to me for no reason. I was hesitant since I had a feeling the doctor would be upset, but I asked (the blonde woman) to go back and get one last look at the lenses together since I just got a quick one & my eyes hadn’t adjusted when he put them on. She spoke with the doctor and sent me back. I was hoping to bring my boyfriend in with me so he could see how the doctor was acting (or so the doctor could stop) but as soon as i stepped in, he slammed the door behind me. No to mention as I was walking to the office he said “so, you want to check them AGAIN huh ? It’s not like I didn’t already have you check them but SURE, come in again. This is why we check 3x (which we did not).” In a sarcastic, passive aggressive tone. & in the office as he pulls the lenses back up, “I don’t understand why you have me doing this again but sure.” & once everything was done, “ok ! Good ! I thought so, you see that’s why we check but you can go now & let me finish my work.” I tried my best to hold my tears but the blonde woman at the desk notices and handed me a tissue asking if he was mean to me. Later, I got a call from who I recall being the manager. I appreciated her even reaching out as I was not expecting that level of care or concern; but she apologized on his behalf many times & validated my experience since this apparently wasn’t the first & they have been trying to work on it. She expressed her displeasure with my experience & told me that is not the type of experience they want their customers to have, especially at somewhere as vulnerable as an eye doctor. She sent me a survey (which, due to complications, I was unable to complete) but also gave our account $100 on glasses. I am unhappy with my experience & the doctor but I am thankful for the front desk woman & the managers help.

Went to get my rayban meta gen 2 fixed. Ive owned them since the 22nd of December 2025 and they have not worked since ive owned them. Lenscraft wont replace them. Theyll only give me some money towards it even though it never worked since I bought them. I went in with questions and left very upset. So the story goes I went in and asked why I wouldn't get a full refund and she said thats how it is. Then she apply I was yelling. You can ask anyone there I was just upset. Never yelled once. Please pull up the footage. She just made the situation worse instead of solving it. Her name is kait the store manager. She should be fired or have a strong talk to about her attitude with customers

I had a great experience at LensCrafters thanks to Kate. She was wonderful—polite, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire process. She made everything easy and enjoyable, and I would absolutely love to work with her again when I get my next pair of glasses.

Whatever you do don't get the scratch proof coating it does not work. My wife called them 12 months later to get them fixed and they told her her glasses were not covered anymore. You would think after spending almost $700.00 they would have tried to do something to help her out. Never again

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
