  Posted on behalf of PCK. July 18, 2025 Henry is an Outstanding care giver. He came to our home when my husband had serious health issues and needed 24/7 attention. Henry took the night shift from 9 pm to 9 am and did everything he could to keep the patient safe and comfortable. Henry was always alert when the patient needed attention and only woke me when the patient needed assistance with the feed tube. Most evenings when Henry arrived, we were watching some type of sporting event. Henry learned what he could about sports and eventually was able to discuss some strategies with my husband. In the morning before leaving Henry helped with the bath, other needed hygiene and worked hard to keep my husband in good spirits.. When the patient no longer needed nighttime attention, we asked if Henry could become our daytime care giver and he did. Henry readily adapted to the daytime duties, making breakfast and lunch, helping the patient with daytime exercises, walking outside and doing some household chores. He often kept my husband entertained with stories, went with him on errands and walked outside to help build up strength. Henry motivated my husband to get better and helped him regain an interest in life. Ultimately my husband recovered enough to function without much help and it was time for Henry to move on. We were sorry to see him go and if ever we need assistance again, Henry would definitely be our first choice. Depending on your rating system. We give Henry 5+out of 5 or 10+ out of 10

  Thank you, Home Instead for the great care that all of the aides provide for my Mom. My Mom has had a consistent aide for several months who we love. When she was sick, we were sent a different aide who was an absolute angel who filled in at the last minute. I’m so glad I finally found a provider who fills last minute call offs and has employees that can adapt to new environments quickly.

  Very disrespectful . I came in and was helping my mom fill out an application the lady comes and approaches me telling me that I can’t fill out the application for my mother and that if she can speak English or do it herself I told her yes the reason why I was writing for my mom is because she has problems writing due to Carpal tunnel. The lady proceeds she tells me I have and go in a different room while my mom signs the paper work , as she’s telling me this her demeanor was way off and I felt disrespected I was with my 3 year old son and she called him a girl I corrected her and she didn’t have the audacity to apologize and correct herself . So as I moved away and go have a seat away from my mother like she asked me to , a different lady comes down because I believe she heard the situation and she tells me that me and my 3 year old toddler have to have a seat in the car . My mother is bilingual and I really hope there respecting her and understanding my mother because of her accent . I was there not to be in anyones way I just wanted to help my mom.
