Gretchen is amazing and has helped me address some long-term pain. I’m grateful to have her support and encouragement as I navigate motherhood and the physical changes that come with it. This kind of care should be standard for all women.

Gretchen helped me to not only heal pelvic organ prolapse, also to reach my goals for getting back in the gym and finding intimacy again after having a baby <3 Pelvic floor therapy is an absolute MUST for any expecting mama, recently postpartum mama, or any mama who still experiences any effects from childbirth (because leaking pee when sneezing might be *common* but it’s not *normal!*) Seriously, do yourself a favor and BOOK THAT APPOINTMENT!

Exceptional service all around for anyone experiencing pelvic floor challenges. I am personally healing diastasis recti and a weakened pelvic floor. I have 3 small children and Gretchen makes my exercise routine practical and doable with all the roles I fulfill each day. You will not only find help with pelvic floor health, but all around woman-centered care and support.

I've seen both practitioners and can't recommend them more highly! Thorough, knowledgeable, caring, understanding - everything you could want from someone who practices in this very vulnerable area of expertise. I've made more progress on regaining core control with them than I have had with 3 other PTs.

Frequently Asked Questions About Resilient Women's Health - Wexford
What commonly causes hormone imbalance in women?
Common causes of hormone imbalance in women can include factors such as stress, certain medications, lifestyle habits, medical conditions, and changes in reproductive hormones during different life stages. That said, every woman is unique, and it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional like Dr. Kailee to determine the underlying cause of your specific hormone imbalance.
Do you offer virtual women’s healthcare appointments?
Yes! At Resilient, we know it can be hard to make time for another appointment, but it’s so important that you don’t neglect your own health. That’s why it’s important for us to offer virtual sessions as well. Same amazing care, from your home!
Can visceral manipulation help me with symptoms caused by hormone imbalance?
Yes, visceral manipulation can potentially aid in alleviating symptoms triggered by hormone imbalance, especially after pregnancy. By targeting specific areas in the body that may be affected by hormonal changes, visceral manipulation (or visceral mobilization) can help restore balance and improve overall well-being. However, it is important to remember that every individual's body responds differently to treatments, so consulting with a healthcare professional like Dr. Kailee is crucial in determining the right course of action for your specific needs.
My PMS and period cycles are different after having children. Is this normal?
Yes, changes in PMS and period cycles after having children are common and considered normal – however, this does not mean that any discomfort or pain should be ignored. Pregnancy and childbirth can alter hormone levels and affect the regularity of your cycles, leading to changes in PMS symptoms and the duration/flow of your period. If you experience severe or abnormal symptoms, it's important to speak to someone like Dr. Kailee.
