It seems like every single month there's an issue here. So with Christmas being my wife's fill date on her meds I checked a week earlier to make sure there would be no issue filling her meds Christmas eve. Her Doctor wanted it to be filled the 24th and I asked the pharmacist and they said it would be OK as well. I get in there today they only had 2 of the 3 medication filled. I told them there should be 3 and immediately got attitude from the older woman tech that was working there. The pharmacist wasn't rude but when I said she'd run out she said she should have enough to make it through. What she doesn't know is that my wife is in a terrible flare and I'm taking care of everything and having to work a full time job to support my wife and 6 children and will have to take time off work to pick up her script when they open because she would already have taken her first round of meds at 6am which is her most important dose since she went all night without anything. Now I understand there's alot of addicts that have ruined things for the people who actually need it but that shouldn't change the way you treat people especially when you don't know the circumstances. My wife has multiple chronic illnesses including Addisons disease, Severe reoccurring endometriosis that's she's already had 3 surgeries for, stage 3 kidney disease, medullary sponge kidney, POTS, hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndrome, and complex regional pain syndrome. Just one of these is debilitating but all of them combined is crippling and she's the toughest woman i know. She tries to hide how bad it is. Ill wake up to her crying at 3am quietly so not to wake me and honestly I don't know how she does it. So to have to deal with all that, then be given a hard time at the pharmacy when the doctor has explained these things multiple times is just one more avoidable thing she shouldn't have to deal with. The doctor made sure the script was there a week early and we all checked ahead of time to be 100 percent sure there'd be no issue. I don't know if there's a personal issue going on here since addiction has touched so many of our lives in such a terrible way but you need to learn to keep personal feelings out of a professional setting. My wife won't say anything because that's the way she is she'll just suffer in silence but I won't allow that to happen. With everything else they're great, its only when it comes to this, which is why I think there's some personal feelings going on there. I just pray they never have to experience the pain she does then get treated differently because of it.
