  I took 2 of my toddlers to be seen by this practice, and they did such a good job. The hygienist and dentist were both super informative and great with my kids. It eas my daughter’s first time and they were SO patient. I would highly recommend !

  My daughter was going to see Dr. Heather for about two years. My daughter got sealants in her molars. On the next visit after the sealants were put on she said she had a cavity. I asked mildly how did that happen so fast when she just got the sealants? Appearantly that simple question set her off. She spun around in her chair and pushed the computer screen back and said " what do you think this is" very loud and aggressive! Well that was our last visit and we've never been back again. If a customer has questions about their daughters teeth you should be patient enough as a professional to have a calm conversation without taking the question personally unless you're triggered and had something to hide. I wonder if she was lying in the first place.

  Switched my boys to Chester county dentistry from a previous dentist and I could not be happier! Wonderful waiting room, staff and experience. Can’t recommend them enough!

  We moved to PA 8+ years ago. The first 5 years I brought my four kids here for their cleanings. They were ok. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Short and to the point. It was fine. In the 5 years we were there though I think I saw the dentist twice regarding my kids. And they didn’t exactly have perfect teeth. Three were recommended to the orthodontist for different issues. I just found it odd that the dentist never checked in with me. Growing up my pediatric dentist chatted with my mom after each visit. Our pediatric dentist in Iowa spoke to me each time. And now our new dentist takes the time for a quick check-in. It’s nice to have that communication. It builds trust. It’s comforting. I never thought to leave though until the last visit we had there a dental hygienist so nonchalantly and says you “might” want to have your orthodontist take a look at her. No explanation from the dentist. No X-ray to show me why. Just that. I was already 20k in with my other 3, so as you can imagine I am not in a huge rush to just “pop-in” to my orthodontist without hearing a reason why. Fast forward to three years later I am choosing to write a review because my kids were talking about “the dentist” yesterday. They mentioned how they like their new dentist. I asked “you didn’t like your old dentist?” They explained they did not because they were not friendly. I was a bit taken back. Assuming the worst. It was not quite so bad. They explained that they didn’t talk to them. I asked “they didn’t talk?” They said “well they talked to each other, just not us.” They were bothered by it. Although I can understand why. I worked in an elementary school for a few years and the kids LOVED the attention I would give them. They loved when I asked questions about their interests. How their weekend was or just anything and everything that came to mind. How does a pediatric dentist office not understand kids want attention and to feel cared for? It’s disappointing. I am very happy to report our new dentist by CHOP is friendly and personable as is her staff. My kids have commented on how happy they are more than once. It’s been a good move.

  Dr. Heather and the entire team at the West Chester location are incredible. They are patient, friendly, and professional and really put our son at ease with all types of dental work needed. We've lived in a few different states and have been patients at four other pediatric dental practices, and Dr. Heather is the best by far! We're so glad we found Chester County Dentistry for Children WC!
