Walk-In Clinic
Guthrie knows that not all health issues occur at convenient hours. Many times, non-emergency situations arise during evening or weekend hours when physician offices are closed. That is why Guthrie has created the Walk-In Care, a clinic staffed by Guthrie health care professionals, designed to treat patients’ acute care needs when they can’t make it to their physician’s office during regular business hours.

The doctors and nurses at Guthrie seem to really care and do a good job. Betsey is the best phlebotomist I've ever had poke me. She gets it the first time for me every time and I barely feel it! She makes it look easy when other nurses and doctors struggle.

I made an appointment on line sat for the walk in for 1045 it stated be there 15 mins early so u don't lose your spot. Didn't get seen till after noon. The site is very misleading. The site give u the expectation of being seen for time u make. Care was great staff was great. Felt bad for staff the way you have web site leave to fail.

Last night my kiddo was grabbing her ear and screaming it hurts.
She just finished a 10 day course of antibiotics on Halloween for an ear infection.
I gave her ibuprofen last night at 8 for the pain. This morning she woke up with a fever, I gave her ibuprofen and figured it must be an ear infection.
I also messaged her PCP last night asking that we set up an appointment to consult an ENT regarding tubes.
I got an automated message .
I take her to the walk in and their policy is because she was already seen for this on the 22nd. She can only be seen by a PCP and they refused to treat her.
They informed me they can schedule her with a doctor who is not her PCP on Monday.
Waiting from the time that the symptoms start on Friday and taking her and on Monday when she’s screaming that she’s in pain to not just be treated but even be seen is assinine.
So we went to the ER.
Confirmed double ear infection.
I am beyond disappointed and disgusted in the protocols that Guthrie has in place. Way to neglect your patients.
