I just started teleheath therapy on my phone about a month ago. So far the receptionist have been amazing (especially when I called to schedule, she was so compassionate and caring), my therapist Nicole is the best, and Dr. Morton already saw me and diagnosed my ADHD. Not sure what all of the bad reviews are for.. I haven’t went in person.. but every experience I have had over the phone or on video have been nothing but positive. The therapist’s, receptionist, and doctors I have spoke to actually seemed like they cared and enjoyed doing their job. That means a lot nowadays. Especially at 34 years old and just now trying to sort of my mental health. So thank you for caring, thank you for making me feel comfortable, and thank you for doing your job exceptionally.

Dr. Dana Morton is exceptional. This was hands down the most professional, organized, and productive healthcare visit I’ve experienced in years. I walked in feeling discouraged after multiple experiences where I didn’t feel heard or taken seriously. Dr. Morton changed that completely. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and actually addressed my concerns with a clear plan. I left feeling validated, supported, and hopeful which is something I haven’t felt in a long time in a medical setting. Dr. Stephen Neal is equally fantastic. Both physicians demonstrate true professionalism, compassion, and competence. Their care feels intentional and patient-focused, not rushed or dismissive. I’m incredibly grateful for doctors like them.

Receptionist is rude & lazy. Because the receptionist wouldn't, the dental assistant would have to walk around to the computer to schedule me an after 4pm apt because that's as early as I could make it there during the week. The receptionist made it obvious she was not wanting to stay that "late". When I came in for the apt, the receptionist said, "what are you here for?" in a rude tone. No hello, or anything. I told her just a regular cleaning that I have an apt reminder on paper of this time and date. She said we canceled that because that dental assistant no longer works here and that shes not scheduling anyone to be here later than 2:30pm. I said that I don't think I recieved that information, that my apt got canceled without any rescheduling either. The receptionist cut me off while I was speaking saying she knows I recieved the call because she made the call. But there was no communication regarding that cancelation. I have no voicemail, or missed call. If I would have been notified that they canceled my apt on me, I would have not wasted my time going there in the first place. I won't be back.

receptionist was VERY rude and lazy. They were more worried about eating chips and listening to music than seeing patients that had appointments. Had appointments for my wife and 2 kids and they could only see the kids, and was making it a big deal that they had to see them even tho it’s been scheduled for 6 months now. Made up excuses why they couldn’t see us today and was like we can reschedule it. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Staff is very rude also. I will be finding somewhere else after today.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cornerstone Care Community Dental & Behavioral Health Center of Waynesburg

What is Primary Care?

Primary care is a branch of medicine that is focused on disease prevention, maintenance of health issues, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. A primary care physician (PCP) will coordinate all aspects of your health care, both mental and physical. They will prescribe any needed medications, and refer you to a specialist when necessary.

Why do I Need a Primary Care Physician?

It’s crucial for everyone to have a primary care physician, even if you are healthy and rarely get sick. When you build a relationship with a PCP, they get to know your personal and family health history, and are able manage and identify virtually any health issues that arise. It’s important to identify illness early on before it becomes a serious problem. A PCP also provides vaccines, immunizations, cancer screenings, and general advice for improving your quality of life.
