My daughter was scheduled for a 2:30 appointment. They asked us to come 30mins earlier to fill out paper work, so we did at 2:00. When we got into the office the fogged out glass window was closed. We didn’t know to knock or just sit and wait until they weren’t busy. Five mins later another patient walked in who was also new and asked what to do. He ended up knocking and they gave him his papers. I jumped up before they could close their window all the way to let them know we were also waiting before that guy. At 2:10ish a patient came from the back and left. It wasn’t until 3:15 that the guy who knocked on the glass before us was called back. Then two more patients came into the office minutes apart. I got up to knock on the window at 3:20ish to ask when my daughter would be seen. They said 30mins or less just depending on how much longer the dr would be with the last patient. I asked if it normally takes this long and she said well some visits take longer if the patient needs more time and that he would also give more time to us if we were to need it. Yet this dr sat back in his office for over an hour with no patient. He had myself and the one guy come in mins apart and then two other patients come in mins apart. When I told the lady this was ridiculous and I would just find another office to go to and asked for the 40pages of papers that I just filled out back. She told me NO that they would shred them. Yet they didn’t have a shredder in their office and she said they send them out to be shredded. I have a lot of patience but this place was not welcoming from the beginning and this was our first time ever going to a therapist. It felt so unprofessional and the front desk lady was rude and the dr obviously double books patients and then has them wait on him while he’s doing who knows what. If you plan to visit with this dr plan for it to be a all day thing! Knock on the glass window when you get there, otherwise they won’t bother to open it and check to see if your there. Even if you stand in front of the widow making noise.
