I had two visits with Jill and left pretty disappointed. I wasn’t going to give a review, but now that I’ve had follow up care at another dermatologist, I realized how much better my visit could have been.
I was seen for an ongoing issue, and was offered medications that did not help. (I have no issue with this- I recognize every med is not the right fit). I asked for lifestyle recommendations, reasons the medication may not have worked, and listed some concerns I had with other recommended medications. I don’t feel like any of my questions were answered and don’t feel like I was treated with any compassion with my concerns. The issues I brought up (like that the medication specifically said not to put near my eyes, and that’s what it was being prescribed for) didn’t get any answer, only a stare.
I have since seen another derm that has ordered a biopsy and given me a completely different diagnosis, and treatment is going well! It’s a bummer I got none of this care at this office.
While the office is clean, and was able to book me quickly, I don’t feel like it was a welcoming experience. At my last visit the front desk asked the nursing staff to hurry up with my appointment cause she had a grocery order to pick up, while I was standing right there, and had arrived on time for my visit!
The nursing/assistant staff was thorough and kind. There was no issue there.
