Ordered glasses, ended up canceling because insurance was added without my consent and finding out the lens would be tinted after not being told. I canceled the day of my order was told it was canceled. It’s been 3 weeks and I still haven’t gotten a refund. They were dishonest when placing my order and now are holding my money despite saying the order was cancelled. I now have to go through a dispute with my card company which will take another 4-6 weeks. Go somewhere else this is shady business.

Neal is not an honest man. Displayed here is a picture of him trying to add an extra pair of lenses to a return, simply to avoid processing it. Ray Bans does not sell lenses apart from the glasses so this does not make sense. Go elsewhere for your business.

The LensCrafters in Springfield is HORRIBLE! My husband and I were in the store last Tuesday. We spent $600+ dollars on frames and lens and were specifically told by Neal that we would receive one text instead of two when both pairs of glasses were ready because Neal was unable to setup two profiles. On Friday we received the one text and yesterday at 9am we went to the store thinking we were picking up both by pairs of glasses. Instead only my husband’s were ready. No apology just ignorance and blaming ME for the “miscommunication”. Four hours later we get another text saying mine were ready for pickup. We returned to the store at 6pm and there is no tint on the lenses which we paid $100+ dollars for. We cancelled the entire order last night and returned to day for the $365.89 refund. STILL NO APOLOGY JUST BLANK STARES! If you want quality work and great customer service and no grief then AVOID THIS LENSCRAFTERS!

I've been wearing glasses for a long time, so I am very experienced at shopping for glasses. The LensCrafters in Springfield was one of the best experiences I've ever had buying glasses.
Maria is an excellent optician (or whatever her title is!), and very competent, pleasant and helpful. I didn't catch the name of the other two employees, but they were very gracious and helpful too.
I can't comment on the prices because both my husband and I have very complicated prescriptions so we're used to spending a lot of money on our glasses, and LenCrafters' prices seemed about right.
Highly recommended!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
