  First off, front office staff was great and they get the one star i left. Charging for a consultation is ridiculous, 1 week after wisdom teeth removal still numb. And the audacity not to even look in my daughter's mouth to visually check the incisions is straight negligent. This "doctor" is clearly here for the money, not the patient care. Your office is beautifully decorated, charging hundreds for consultation is absurd, lack of care and due diligence as a medical so called professional is down right ridiculous. Shame on you, we will not return.

  Paid $25,000 out of pocket January 2024. And as of today February 22, 2026 i still dont have teeth that fit properly. Went to see Dr. Hecht on February 18, 2026 and was told he could not really make any more adjustments and he walked out of the room. Absolutely disgusting to leave someone with no teeth this long especially since you were paid out of pocket.

  Dr Hecht and his staff did an excellant job. I had a molar extracted and went extremely well. I can heartedly reccomed them all.

  Very good treatment with medical staff not such a good experience with the front desk folks. Called and front desk staff refused to xfer me to Office mgr about an issue with the refund we received. The front desk staff mbr didn’t want to give me the Office mgr name and refused to put me through to VM, just wanted to return the refund check that my daughter let expire which is our fault but they sent a letter requesting us to cash it, so we just wanted to connect with the office mgr to get a good date and time to meet with her or speak with her but apparently she is not available at anytime to speak to her over the phone or in person. I’ve never heard that the office mgr is never available, her office hours and when is a good time to talk to her is not available either you have to leave a msg at the front desk and hope they feel like informing the office mgr of your call and concern.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Hecht and his entire team at Hecht Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Shippensburg. After putting it off for far too long, I finally had my wisdom teeth removed today at 32 years old, and the level of care I received from start to finish was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, every member of the staff was warm, reassuring, and incredibly professional. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Hecht’s bedside manner is outstanding—he explains everything clearly, checks in often, and has a calm, confident presence that immediately puts you at ease. What stood out the most, though, was what happened after I got home. Not a triage nurse, not a generic after-hours service—but Dr. Hecht himself called me this evening to check on how I was feeling. That kind of personal follow-up is almost unheard of these days, and it speaks volumes about the pride he takes in his work and the compassion he has for his patients. His commitment to comfort and care is remarkable, and I am genuinely grateful for such a positive experience with a procedure I’d been so anxious about. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Hecht and his amazing team to anyone in need of oral surgery. They truly go above and beyond.
