If they do clear you to go back to work and you get hurt again they will assist in making sure you don't get Worker's Comp wages again.

I tried to explain things to nurses about my issues with bloodwork constantly being needed, and even the doctor shrugged it off as if I was being unreasonable and said it’s not a big deal. I could only have so much blood taken but it was enough for some results. (I’m anemic and have extremely low iron and pass out after a certain amount of blood is drawn) They called with blood results and couldn’t tell me something about it and said I needed to contact my primary care doctor, even though their office ordered the labs and it was a nurse on the phone. I literally had a panic attack and became sick on my bathroom floor, while trying to get ahold of my doctor. How can a doctor order tests and a nurse not be able to explain what a term means? They don’t listen at all in my experience with them. They seem to push certain shots that I didn’t want. I went to them for three appointments and that was enough of the coldness I received. Thankfully, I was able to get my primary care doctor to refill my prescription that was helpful and without bloodwork constantly while I look for a doctor to help with my bone issues.

- LLLeeMar 25, 20251.0Do not go here! If the customer service doesn’t know what they’re doing, it doesn’t bode well for anything else that happens here. I had a simple question. Since the results of my MRI didn’t appear on My Chart, I had the unfortunate experience in dealing with “customer service” reps on the phone. The first woman transferred me to another clueless woman. I had an appt. With my doctor the next day. I didn’t want to waste my time with him if he also didn’t have my result. I asked her if he received my result. She ignored what I was saying and kept asking me if I wanted a date in a couple of weeks in April. I said “you don’t understand what I am asking.” I repeated it, and she said whoever made my appt for tomorrow got it wrong. She transferred me to some other dept. to see if they had my results of course I waited for 10 minutes, and then hung up. I called again and got the first woman. She said she couldn’t help me if I didn’t have the second woman’s name. She finally asked me for the date of my MRI and contacted whoever, and told me they had the MRI. So I finally got my answer after an aggravating 25 minutes. I asked her for the review questionnaire given at the end of an interaction, and she didn’t know what I was talking about and transferred me to some other lady. I spoke to her about my awful experience, and she transferred me to the “manager.” Of course there was an answering machine…. If this was the outrageous interaction of trying to get a simple question answered from UPMC, I suggest you go to another facility.
