Wellness Center
Since 2015, the Central Outreach Wellness Center (COWC) Pittsburg has been dedicated to providing healthcare for all individuals. As a sexual wellness clinic, Central Outreach primarily serves and strengthens the LGBTQ+ community by providing essential prevention and treatment for HIV and STIs. We also cure more cases of Hep C than any other medical clinic.
In Central Outreach Wellness Center Pittsburg, we stand as a fierce advocate for our patients, fighting to eliminate barriers that impact health outcomes—especially for people of trans and queer experience, people of color, those living with HIV, and those struggling with addiction.

Central Outreach is unlike any doctor’s office I’ve ever been to before. The care they provide is truly comprehensive, and it is very clear that they focus on the whole person, not just individual concerns.
The staff are consistently professional, kind, and welcoming. They maintain a supportive, non-judgmental environment that makes you feel comfortable and respected.
I’m grateful that Pittsburgh has this resource and personally, to have found this practice. I would (and do) highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, patient-centered care.

Every doctor and nurse I’ve seen has been amazing and I have zero complaints on that end, but I recently updated my health insurance and sent my new info to the email listed on their website. It had been over 5 weeks and I still wasn’t approved for my prescription, turns out they never updated my insurance. I asked one of the doctors today about it and was told the email I sent it to was not correct despite it being the one listed on the website. PLEASE UPDATE IT ON THE WEBSITE. I haven’t had access to my meds for weeks because of this. This experience makes me fearful that there may be issues in the future. I understand miscommunication happens but with healthcare already being confusing for most people these things need to be as clear as possible.

Very friendly staff. Quick to help with a walk in. Never felt rushed at any point in my appointment. I can’t remember the last time a NP/PA actually sat down to address my concerns and make sure I was okay with the health plan. Will 10/10 go back again

I would like to know what has happened to the customer service? The service in the walk in clinic is very slow!!! Seems to be more laughing than actual Patient Care.
