So apparently ACME has decided we’re all thieves until proven innocent — can’t even leave self-checkout unless you scan your receipt at the gate like you’re sneaking out of a prison commissary. Every week it’s some new corporate “anti-theft” measure that just makes shopping worse for paying customers. They’re so busy treating us like suspects that they forget we’re the ones keeping them in business. I’d rather shop where I don’t feel policed at every step, guess I’ll be heading to Amazon Fresh from now on. At least they pretend to trust their customers. Keep it up, ACME, pretty soon there won’t be any shoppers left to harass.

I usually just use the pharmacy that department is great. Sid has very great customer service. As for they store they follow you around like a criminal and ask where you going or looking for if you don't have no cart. Outrageous y'all barking up the wrong tree. Maybe because the shrink so high. Yes I was dressed dirty fresh out of work what you expect but don't profile me that ain't real at all.

This Acme location is on the second floor above a shopping center, with that being said it is difficult to get Uber/ Lyft to pick you up because the signage for the parking area is not lit nor is it noticeable for someone trying to find it. The carts have wheel locks on them so the can't go down the elevator to meet your driver at the curb. I had to leave my groceries outside the front door and go down to find my Uber driver who wasn't able to find the ramp up then direct him on how to get up to the upper parking lot. The sign is on the wall , but like I said it's not lit and if I didn't know where I was going I would keep driving around the block. Although the address is 180 Girard Ave the entrance to the upper parking lot is located at the corner of 2nd and Germantown Avenue. Also there were lots of things that this location did not have like larger bottles of Italian seasoning, I also didn't see banquet products or whipped cream in the aerosol can to name a few things. I did purchase the fried chicken and potato wedges which had no flavor so I won't be buying them again and the macaroni salad was okay, but had a weird after taste that I didn't like. I was looking forward to getting a slice of birthday cake , but I didn't see any and other slices were $6 a slice. I did buy some apple fritters which were pretty good I just wish they had a little more of the gooey apple filling in them. I would shop here again if I just needed a few things , but not to actually grocery shop.

Acme is not my favorite supermarket but this one is pretty good. Sale prices are good but full price items tend to be on the expensive side. The exit tends to get backed up so it takes a while to leave.
