I have been coming to the Mt. Lebanon location for quite some time. My most recent visit was so great. I typically pass out when I get bloodwork done and am always nervous for my appointment. The phlebotomist, Darlene, was so incredibly kind and patient. She made sure I was laying down, talked me through everything, and checked that I felt okay before leaving. It was not rushed and I didn’t feel like a burden at all. Excellent experience!!

My visit to Quest was COLD. The waiting room was just about as warm as it was outside! There needs to be working heat or at the very least a space heater. Also to only ever have two phlebotomists at any time is poor scheduling. There should be at least one assigned to handle walk-ins only and two for scheduled appointments. There was (at the location where I went) an open available room already set up for lab draws that was being used as a space for them to put their coats, winter boots etc. Please schedule a third phlebotomist and provide working heat for the waiting area

I go to the Mt Lebanon location at least twice a year for blood work. This last time the phlebotomist complained that there was a new computer system and didn’t want to enter all of the codes for the tests my doctor had written. So she didn’t bother & I got a bill for $3000!!

I want to start by saying that I have a phobia of getting bloodwork done and consistently faint afterwords. I did get a script for a Xanax to take to calm my nerves. And kept an ice pack on my chest. However the real star of the show was my phlebotomist, whose name I did not get. She was incredibly kind and reassuring, and reinforced over and over that I was not going to faint. She made me feel so comfortable by telling me the needle she was using was so small and that it would be so quick. She even told me to bring my fiancé back to hold my hand. And for the first time ever, I did not faint!! You can tell this is a very busy location and they have so many patients to get to but at no point did she make me feel rushed. I will absolutely be going back to this location in the future. Thank you so much 😊

I’ve dealt with “Darlene” quite a few times. For myself and for clients that I send to the mount Labanon location. She is so rude! This woman has treated all my co workers poorly as well as clients. If she hates her job so much she should just quit! Darlene, if your reading this, maybe you should find some peace in your life!!!
